Fishing
Clean rivers, mountain, swift and well-oxygenated waters, as well as low density of the population create perfect conditions for fish.
Amongst many species here, it is worth mentioning the brown trout (Salmo trutta m. fario) and grayling (Thymallus thymallus).
The rules of fishing:
Allowed: artificial and vegetable lures
Spinning ban from 1st September until 31st January
Grayling’s protection period: from 1st January until 31st May
Protection of brown trout up until the size of 30cm (approx. 12 inches)
Please remember to pay the fees for fishing in the mountain waters!
Worth knowing!!!
Within the borders of the Bieszczady National Park and the Krywe nature reserve – from the mouth of the Hulski stream to the Studenne bridge there is a total ban of fishing.
