How to spend time? /
Under the observation
The richness of animal species found within the municipalities’ borders allows for spending an unforgettable time in their company. Starting from the vertebrates, whose population has more than 200 different species, to invertebrate animals, of which there are almost 700 species.
Amongst the larger mammals we can observe a brown bear, wolf, bison, red deer, roe deer, wild boar, fox, badger, otter, wildcat, lynx and beaver.
Bieszczady National Park and San Valley Landscape National Park provide a perfect habitat for birds, amongst which the most important are: golden eagle, lesser spotted eagle, eagle owl, Ural owl, pygmy owl, boreal owl, white-backed woodpecker, three-toed woodpecker and the snake eagle.
Remember!
- never go near the wild animals without a guide, as some of them can be dealy!!!
- do not disturb the animals
- take actions to protect the natural environment of the animals
- do not spread information about the whereabouts of the animals and birds’ nesting places
- ensure you comply with the nature protection law
- do not go off the marked trails within the borders of the Bieszczady National Park
